Clients describe me as easy to talk to, caring, collaborative, and helpful.
I help people feel more confident in their coping strategies, more grounded in their body, and more trusting of their intuition.
I help people understand their thoughts and feelings so they can recognize what they want/need and can take more care of themself.
I help people identify tangible things to work on between sessions (like holding a boundary, taking on a manageable chunk of an overwhelming task, experimenting with sleep strategies, applying for a new job, or booking a dentist appointment).
I am a registered social worker/therapist providing psychotherapy. I have more than 16 years of clinical experience with:
- anxiety, depression, and the impacts of trauma
- the impacts of childhood experiences including abuse, neglect and emotional neglect
- neurodivergence – ADHD, autism, and sensory processing issues
- grief and loss including unemployment, divorce and pet loss
- chronic and disabling health issues including POTS, cancer and long-covid
- work, school and parenting stress
- communication and boundary setting in relationships and families
- caregiving for children/parents/partners/friends with health issues
- exploring sexual orientation and the impacts of homophobia/biphobia
- exploring gender identity and expression, and the impacts of transphobia
Let’s make a plan for moving forward.
