** I offer phone and video appointments and currently have no plan to return to in-person meetings **
If you’re feeling curious about accessing therapy with me, feel free to get in touch with me and we can find a time for a free mini phone session (around 30min). In that call we would discuss what you’re looking for and how that might fit with the type of support I have training and experience to provide.
I use my electronic medical record OWL Practice for video therapy (and on occasion use doxy.me). Both video platforms are compliant with PHIPA (the Patient Health Information Protection Act), use data encryption, and house servers and Canadian data on Canadian soil.
I check my phone and email on weekdays during the day. In general, I try to reply to messages within 1-2 business days. On occasion if I am in training or on vacation, my response time might be longer. I do not typically reply to messages on weekends or holidays.
Please note – I unfortunately do not have capacity to provide crisis support outside of sessions. For crisis resources, please check the crisis supports page of my website.
wondering about the future (aren’t we all?) when in-person appointments would be possible again?
I currently have no plan to return to in-person sessions because of the uncertainty and risk related to covid-19. Eventually when it becomes safe for me to be seeing people in-person I plan to rent office space in the east end of toronto (likely in the east danforth, east york, beach or upper beach area).
looking forward to hearing from you.
